Privacy & advertising

Updated September 29, 2026.

This notice explains how DNAi inc. handles information on done4.me and its browser experiment collection.

DNAi’s privacy commitments

This notice follows the principles and privacy-request process in DNAi inc.’s privacy policy: transparency, collection limited to a stated purpose, appropriate protection and respect for the rights provided by applicable Québec privacy law, including Law 25. The corporate policy is published in French.

The corporate policy describes dnai.ca as using essential cookies without advertising or external tracking. The advertising integration on games.done4.me is different and is specifically disclosed below. Do not interpret the corporate website’s no-advertising-cookie statement as a description of these games. This notice does not change the policy or services on dnai.ca.

Who to contact

DNAi inc.’s president is the person responsible for the protection of personal information (RPRP). For access, correction, deletion, consent or other privacy requests, email info@dnai.ca. Include the relevant site or project and the nature of your request. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary to identify the issue.

Homepage and project notes

These pages do not require an account, provide an upload form, use analytics scripts or store a visitor profile. The homepage draws a graphics scene on your device. Its animation preference lasts for that page session. The reserved advertisement space does not currently load an advertisement, and no Google advertising script is loaded by these pages.

Hosting and correspondence

Hostinger processes request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, requested address and browser information. Its processing is described in Hostinger’s privacy policy. Sending us an email shares the message and your address through your email provider so we can respond. We use correspondence for the request you send and related follow-up, rather than advertising profiling.

Service providers may process information outside Québec or Canada. Their locations and practices depend on the service used. DNAi’s corporate policy describes its approach to service providers and transfers outside Québec; Google’s separate advertising processing is described in the links below.

Local game progress

Linked games can save progress and preferences in browser storage. DNBlock saves its board, hand, score and sound preference. Connect Dot, DNHiddenWords and DNWarRun also keep local progression. Those saves are specific to the browser and site origin; they are not an account-based synchronization service. Clearing site data can remove progress. Browser settings can restrict storage, but doing so may prevent progress from persisting.

Google advertising in DNBlock

DNBlock contains a Google AdSense display-ad integration. Google and third-party advertising providers may place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, local storage, IP addresses and device or browser information when collecting information through advertising. This information can be used to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition and prevent abuse. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites.

An integration does not mean an advertisement will be available or that Google has approved the site. Our editorial pages do not currently request ads. Additional advertising integrations will be reflected in this notice before they are enabled.

Your advertising choices

Where a Google consent message applies, use its choices to accept, decline or manage advertising purposes. You can revisit choices through the privacy settings control provided by that message when available. Declining personalization is not necessarily the same as disabling all advertising or all storage: any remaining processing is subject to the choices and requirements described in the message.

Manage Google ad personalization through Google My Ad Center. Read how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google’s advertising-cookie information. Participating third-party providers offer additional opt-out choices through industry advertising controls. Browser settings also let you block or delete cookies and site data; doing so can remove local game saves.

Your privacy rights

As described in DNAi’s corporate policy and subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to and correction of personal information, deletion where permitted, withdrawal of consent, and portability where applicable. You may also raise objections or questions about profiling or automated decisions. Withdrawing consent does not undo prior lawful processing, and some information may need to be retained to meet a legal obligation.

Send requests to the RPRP at info@dnai.ca. DNAi’s published policy provides for a response within 30 days of receipt. Verification may be needed to protect your information. Local game saves remain under your browser’s site-data controls; Google account and advertising settings are managed through Google’s services.

Retention and protection

Personal information handled by DNAi is limited to what is needed for the stated purpose and applicable obligations, under its corporate privacy policy. This site does not promise a separate fixed retention period for hosting logs or advertising data controlled by service providers. Local progress can remain in your browser until you or the browser removes it. Public pages are delivered over HTTPS; do not send passwords or payment details in a project report.

Links, access and updates

Opening an external link connects your browser to another service with its own privacy practices. You do not need to click an advertisement to read the project notes or contact us. Privacy, contact and error pages on done4.me do not load advertising code. We date changes to this notice and will update it when these pages begin using advertising or analytics services.
